[Hiring] Customer Success Manager @Upscope

Role Description

Join AnyMail Finder as our first Customer Success Manager and own the full customer experience, start to finish!

This is a role with a lot of autonomy. You’ll own the day-to-day customer experience, help customers get more value from the product, spot opportunities to grow usage, and feed what you learn from customers back into the product.

What you’ll do:

• Support: Mostly via chat and email. Handle day-to-day queries yourself, such as cancellations, refunds, discount requests, and questions about credits, and escalate more technical issues, like email bounces or API problems, to the team.
• Account expansion: Look at how customers actually use the product and reach out when there’s something useful to share. This is data-led, not a sales pitch.
• The monthly product update email: Own the monthly customer update covering what’s shipped, what’s new, and why it matters.
• Customer feedback: Speak to customers using specific features, gather feedback, and bring those insights back to the team to help shape future product decisions.

What you won't be doing: chasing leads, running demos, or closing deals. We're self-serve, so the focus is on helping the product work better for existing customers, not selling it to new ones.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in support or Customer Success at a SaaS company, ideally with a self-serve product rather than an enterprise one.
• Comfortable with tech and curious enough to figure things out.
• Understanding of the basics of APIs and willingness to explore tools like Zapier or Make.
• Enjoy working with data: segments, usage patterns, and filtering customer lists.
• Excellent written communicator.
• Experience working in a startup or a small team.
• Bonus points if you've done cold email or outbound before.

We’ve been around since 2015, bootstrapped from day one and grown without outside investment. AnyMail Finder is almost entirely self-serve, so most customers can get started and use the product independently, with support there when they need it.
