[Hiring] Customer Services Specialist @Kent County CMH Authority

Role Description

We are seeking a Customer Services Specialist. Under the supervision of the Communications Director, the Customer Services Specialist will ensure Network180 operates a Customer Services & Grievance system that complies with federal and state requirements.

This position is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. There are no weekends, on call, or holiday requirements for this position. While this position is remote, responsibilities may require regional travel within Kent County in varying provider settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, human services, communications, public relations, or related field.
• Peer Specialist/Recovery Coach certified and/or lived experience with extensive knowledge of the public behavioral health system.
• At least one year of experience providing customer service, ideally in a behavioral health environment.
• Excellent organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a consultative approach and active listening skills; ability to build cross-departmental collaborations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to providing services within diverse communities.
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database management, email, and presentation software.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job-related use.
