Role Description

Labcorp is seeking a Customer Service Support Rep - Patient Customer Service within the Revenue Cycle Management Division to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's office or private insurance carriers.
• Initiate payment plans for patients for outstanding balances.
• Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone.
• Maintain performance goals.
• Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year or more customer service experience.

Requirements

• 1 year or more high volume call center experience (preferred).
• 1 year or more medical billing, insurance claims, and explanation of benefits (preferred).
• 1 year or more patient billing (preferred).
• Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and focused.
• Perform successfully in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency navigating multiple computer screens and applications.
• Alpha-Numeric data entry proficiency.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Energetic, passionate customer service.
• Seek solutions to challenging patient billing issues.
