[Hiring] Client Service Specialist @NBT Bank

Role Description

Deliver client service for daily record-keeping, administration and servicing of assigned book of business to promote revenue growth, productivity and exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and two (2) years' customer service related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• ASPAA Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) preferred

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and technical procedures
• Ability to write routine correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively with both internal and external contacts
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to develop software skills provided by internal training within a reasonable time as determined by the Manager

Tasks Performed

• 45% Proactively ensure plans are administered in compliance with plan provisions and current pension laws and regulations
• 30% Daily report monitoring and management, document pertinent client communication and provide internal and external project management support
• 20% Effectively communicate with all operational teams to ensure that record-keeping items are maintained for all assigned plans
• 5% Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers
• Stationary 75% of time or greater
• Move objects to a maximum of 10 lbs
