Role Description

This is a fully remote, part-time position working from home while supporting customers during some of their most important moments. As ClaimsAlert operates 24/7, the majority of scheduled hours are during the evenings, all weekend and statutory holidays.

As a Bilingual ClaimsAlert Agent, you will be the trusted first point of contact for customers experiencing an unexpected loss or incident. You will:

• Gather and document claim details
• Provide immediate support and reassurance to policyholders
• Ensure claims are accurately routed to the appropriate insurance provider for prompt resolution

Your ability to communicate clearly, remain calm under pressure, and deliver an outstanding customer experience will make a meaningful difference during critical moments for our customers. This role requires frequent interactions in English and requires reading and preparing documents in English on a frequent basis.

The hourly wage range is $18 to $20.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
• Excellent communication and active listening skills
• Comfortable using technology and learning new software platforms
• Strong customer service mindset with a professional and empathetic approach
• Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when entering information
• Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
• 1-2 years of customer service experience required
• Call Centre experience is an asset
• Experience in insurance, automotive, restoration, construction, or related industries is an asset
