Role Description

We have an existing opportunity for a Claims Triage Adjuster (Night Shift) to join our team! This is a remote position that can be situated anywhere in Canada. This night shift after Hours Desktop / Remote Adjuster role supports national/regional operations to ensure that after hours claims are triaged according to defined national or regional expectations.

• This will be an after-hours, remote / desk top role.
• The shift is Monday-Friday from 4:30pm-12:30am on call working from home.
• Hours could potentially be 4:30pm - 8:30am, 8pm-8am (EST) on call working from home.

Qualifications

• University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.
• Some experience with property claims (Wind, Water, Fire, etc.) is an asset.
• Equivalency in combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Ongoing commitment to education and learning.
• Effective analytical skills, including identification of cause and effect dynamics.
• Good investigative manner.
• Adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing CIP designation is required.

Requirements

• Monitor after hours claims line.
• Triage new claims against national/regional expectations.
• Meet or exceed Client KPIs.
• Reliability and availability to answer calls when they come through.
