Role Description

As a Chat Support Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance through our online chat platform. Key Objectives

• Provide prompt and professional chat support to clients and prospective clients.
• Assist with answering general legal service questions and guide clients to appropriate resources or team members.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and escalate complex issues to legal staff when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming chat inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Deliver clear and concise information regarding Lone Star Lawyers’ services and processes.
• Identify client needs and direct them to the appropriate department or legal professional.
• Document and track all chat interactions using internal systems.
• Collaborate with legal and administrative teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Continuously update knowledge of company services, policies, and relevant legal terminology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
• Strong written communication skills with attention to grammar and clarity.
• Proficiency with chat software and basic computer applications.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a client-focused mindset.
• Familiarity with legal terminology is a plus but not required.
