[Hiring] Breakdown Claims Handler @PIB Group

Role Description

Jigsaw Insurance, part of PIB Group, is looking for a Breakdown Claims Handler to join their team. The role sits within the motor insurance division, offering insurance for private cars, as well as cover for classic and vintage private and commercial vehicles.

The role involves:

• Answering inbound calls from customers wishing to make a claim on their policy.
• Dealing with customers in various situations, including vehicles that won't start at home, roadside breakdowns, or road traffic accidents.

The shift pattern for this role is:

• Wednesday to Sunday, 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day, totaling 37.5 paid hours per week.

This is a remote position with a starting salary of £25,500.

• An effective communicator, who is empathetic, reassuring, and understanding when speaking to customers on the telephone.

• Customer-focused mindset with a professional, empathetic, and resilient approach.

Requirements

• Being the first port of contact for customers who have broken down or those who are looking to make/discuss a claim.
• Offering verbal support and advice to customers regarding their breakdown or motor incident.
• Liaising with our nationwide network of recovery agents and colleagues from other departments within the business.
• Adhering to great levels of customer service to ensure the customers' safety and well-being are met at the end of each call.
