[Hiring] Billing Customer Service Representative @SMI IMAGING LLC

Role Description

• Serve as the first point of contact for call escalations from patients via phone, email, and other internal communication platforms, providing friendly and efficient service to patients, insurance companies, and their representatives.
• Relay messages from requesters to appropriate team members or departments utilizing multiple software applications.
• Review requester concerns for escalation.
• Assist with coordinating incoming and outgoing billing requests, ensuring timely sorting, facilitating responses, and follow-ups.
• Ensure all patient information is kept confidential and secure in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Minimum 70 accounts worked per day.
• Participate in regular team meetings via video or teleconference.
• Demonstrate competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service.
• Utilize and operate equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines relative to departmental operations.

HOURS: 11 am-7 pm PST
