[Hiring] Bilingual Warranty Claims Specialist @Honda Canada Inc.

Role Description

The Specialist, Bilingual Warranty Claims provides telephone, web case, and email support to the Dealer Network on warranty policy, claim submissions, and reimbursement inquiries. The incumbent reviews warranty claims to ensure they are accurate, complete, and compliant with Honda policies and procedures. The position operates in a call centre environment, supports established service-level targets, and assists with daily warranty activities and related duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Dealer and Internal Support:
  • Respond to all inbound calls and support call centre objectives by maintaining an 80% service level within 60 seconds.
  • Provide timely support to dealers and internal affiliates regarding warranty claim coverage, submission requirements, and payment inquiries.
• Warranty Claim Processing:
  • Process warranty claims submitted by the Dealer Network.
  • Review, approve, or provide authorization for claims, ensuring submissions are accurate, complete, and compliant with established warranty policies and procedures.
• Warranty Administration and Operational Tasks:
  • Complete recurring warranty administration tasks that support accurate records, system updates, dealer follow-up, training requirements, and warranty claim adjustments.
  • Key outputs include completed odometer correction requests, warranty registration date corrections, warranty-related Customer Information Control System (CICS) updates, mandatory Honda Institute and Honda Learning Centre training, parts return requests and tracking, and processed warranty claim debits.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• College – Post-Secondary or in a related field.
• Bilingual French/English required.
• Minimum 1 year call center environment or a related field.
• Customer Service Experience an asset.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with all members of the team.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships within Honda North America as well as all other internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop, establish and maintain good working relationship with Honda North America suppliers, partners, consultants, stakeholders and other network contacts.
• Enjoys team-building approach of management and department - shares results.

Requirements

• The salary range for this position is $64,003- $76,004 annually. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of job-related factors, including education, experience, knowledge, and skill set.
• This is a work-from-home position that requires employees to work-from-home five days per week (with a hoteling workspace when attending the assigned company office on occasion).
