Role Description

Are you ready to make a lasting impact in specialty care? We’re seeking a dedicated and dynamic Bilingual Patient Reimbursement Specialist to join our Patient Support Programs at BioScript Solutions, where we put our patients first!

• Responsible for managing specific projects or cases related to patient reimbursement and coordination for the NavieGo branch.
• Collaborate with the dispensing BioScript Pharmacy pharmacist for overall management of patient cases.
• Act as a single point of contact for assigned health care providers.

Qualifications

• Bilingualism - English/French - is a requirement.
• Prior experience in a reimbursement role is a strong asset.
• Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry is an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer/client service experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications (Google apps, Word, Excel).
• Professional/courteous/efficient telephone manner.
• Proven ability to organize time, set priorities, and multi-task to meet various competing work deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
• An out-of-box thinking approach.
• Able to work rotating shifts Monday through Friday, covering the hours of 8 AM to 8 PM EST.

Requirements

• Coordinate and manage all aspects required to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients.
• Coordinate cases with insurance companies, physician's offices, and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement solutions.
• Coordinate documents, submissions, and all related paperwork to insurance companies and public/federal funding programs.
• Foster and build relationships with key clinics.
• Coordinate with pharmacy processes required once funding has been obtained.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of public/private and federal funding mechanisms.
