[Hiring] Bilingual Collections Specialist @Telehunt

Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bilingual Collections Specialist to manage and improve our accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable engaging with clients to resolve outstanding balances professionally and efficiently. This role requires excellent follow-up abilities, strong organizational skills, and a customer-service mindset.

• Contact tenants to collect outstanding payments through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels (in both English and Spanish).
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and payment arrangements.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts in a timely manner.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies or tenant concerns.
• Negotiate payment plans and ensure commitments are met.
• Process and post payments accurately.
• Generate and update collections reports as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service while remaining firm and professional in collection efforts.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and basic accounting systems.

• Monday - Friday, 9-5 EST
