Role Description

Provides day-to-day delivery of critical lending operations processes including:

• Loan administration and servicing activities
• Execution of payments, transactions, and service requests
• Administrative activities and fulfillment of stakeholder inquiries/requests

Collaborates with stakeholders to:

• Promote efficient and effective processes and workflows
• Establish positive working relationships across the organization
• Achieve business results and deliver intended customer and employee experience

Lending operations includes specialized processes for:

• Mortgages
• Consumer lending products
• Leasing
• Commercial lending products

Additional responsibilities include:

• Providing advice and guidance on implementation of solutions
• Supporting execution of strategic initiatives
• Communicating with internal business partners and external customers
• Monitoring and tracking performance
• Integrating information from multiple sources
• Analyzing data to provide insights and recommendations
• Supporting change management activities
• Executing work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service
• Resolving standard issues and referring non-routine issues to senior team members
• Providing input into continuous improvement of business processes
• Ensuring accurate processing of service requests and transactions
• Following documented policies and procedures
• Checking and reconciling information for accuracy
• Performing administrative tasks such as documentation management
• Data entering, reviewing, and verifying loan information
• Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders
• Developing and maintaining effective relationships
• Collaborating in development/implementation of new processes/systems
• Understanding regulatory requirements and risks
• Supporting development of tools and training

Qualifications

• Typically between 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
• Post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology – In-depth
• Knowledge of business unit’s key products, services, processes, and controls – In-depth
• Knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements – In-depth
• Prioritization skills – Good
• PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – In-depth
• Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience
• Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth
• Collaboration & team skills - In-depth
• Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth
• Influence skills - In-depth
• Fluency in French and English

Requirements

• Strong understanding of mortgage underwriting processes and credit risk assessment
• Audit experience - Good
