[Hiring] Admission Service Representative I @UMass Global

Role Description

Under general direction from the Assistant Director of Admission and Evaluation, the Admission Service Representative is responsible for the processing of applications in the administrative computing system. The Admission Representative is responsible for successfully guiding the applicant through the admissions process and for representing Brandman in a positive and professional manner.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience working in an Admission or Registrar office in a Higher Education Institution or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to perform accurate and efficient entry of data into administrative software.
• Adequate typing skills to complete data entry requests in a timely manner.
• Ability to prioritize duties when faced with interruptions, distractions, and fluctuating workload.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse individuals and groups at all organizational levels.
• Ability to organize and handle large quantities of work with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to use tact and diplomacy and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic computations.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and customer service.

Requirements

• Position may be required to work flexible hours, particularly given campuses’ extended hours of operation.
• May require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
