[Hiring] Mortgage Compliance Officer @Dominion Financial Services

Role Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven Compliance Officer to join our rapidly expanding team and contribute to our mission of empowering real estate investors across the nation.

• Ensure all loan files meet internal standards and compliance guidelines.
• Partner with internal teams to maintain consistent quality control across all lending activity.

In This Role You Will:

• Review and audit loan files to ensure they are in compliance with the lending guidelines and are error free.
• Help track and clear post-closing items in a timely basis.
• Assist other DFS members in coordinating settlements with title companies and borrowers.
• Ensure all loan files are in compliance with Dominion Financial Services, LLC Standards.
• Maintain all loan files and inform upper management of any files that are about to be or currently out of compliance.
• Assist with reviewing executed documentation for funding authorization.
• Review borrower financials, document pertinent information, provide recommended approval amounts, and talk intelligently about the borrower.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience within the lending or mortgage industry.
• Previous experience in loan quality control, file auditing, or compliance review.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to achieve results.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Sound judgment and the ability to identify, document, and escalate potential compliance concerns appropriately.
• Collaborative team player who can work effectively across departments.
• Previous experience using AI-powered tools is preferred.

Requirements

• Experience with AI tools is preferred, and a willingness to adopt AI-assisted work practices is expected for this role.
