[Hiring] Fraud & Compliance Analyst I @Sinch

Role Description

We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to join our Deliverability & Compliance Team. This role will have a strong focus on protecting our customers and our platform by ensuring our policies are followed and customers maintain responsible sending practices.

You will be responsible for:

• Vetting customers
• Monitoring account activity
• Investigating potential abuse and policy violations
• Working with internal teams to resolve compliance issues
• Identifying emerging abuse patterns
• Assessing risk
• Improving processes and tools to keep the platform safe and trustworthy

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a strong working relationship between Compliance and Support, by serving as an escalation point for Support.
• Work with customers to remediate compromises.
• Process direct abuse complaints against our customer base.
• Review customer content for adherence to the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
• Work independently, while exercising good judgment and decision-making in order to consistently deliver superior customer outcomes.
• Proactively take action on accounts with poor sending metrics and/or in violation of our AUP.
• Monitor activity on the platform for signs of abuse, investigate potential abuse and take appropriate action.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service and phone support experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of email abuse/spam, with experience investigating and mitigating platform abuse.
• Knowledge of DNS configuration and its usability (NS, MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, CNAME).
• Basic understanding of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, CCPA, and other international email regulations.
• Strong organization, communication, learning, problem-solving, documentation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with a physically distributed team and work a flexible schedule to cover shifts.

Requirements

• Annual base salary for this position is between 28,000 and 34,000 euros.
• Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
