[Hiring] Compliance Specialist @FreedomCare

Role Description

Join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of others! We are looking for a Compliance Specialist for our Compliance team. This role is remote with potential travel to our main office in Lake Success, NY and/or the FreedomCare hub closest to you.

Our Compliance Team is looking for a Compliance Specialist who can support the compliance department in:

• Reviewing legal documents
• Conducting and responding to internal/external audits
• Investigating Fraud, Waste & Abuse claims
• Maintaining regulatory requirements

Every Day You Will:

• Conduct and respond to internal and external audits for all jurisdictions
• Complete daily reports while meeting metric requirements
• Provide assistance with I-9 approvals
• Assist with conflict reporting and collaborate with our finance department
• Review legal documents
• Investigate fraud, waste & abuse claims
• Be a resource for escalated concerns
• Conduct quality assurance reviews

Qualifications

• Must be organized and have excellent attention to detail
• Adept at multi-tasking
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Proficient computer and phone knowledge
• Experience with data input and case review
• 2 years of previous experience in a similar position preferred
• Healthcare industry experience a plus
