[Hiring] Compliance Operations Analyst @RemotePass

Role Description

RemotePass verifies, screens, and monitors clients and contractors through risk-based onboarding and compliance workflows before payment activity is enabled. We're growing our Compliance Operations team and looking for an Analyst to help handle the day-to-day:

• Reviewing company documents
• Verifying contractor identities
• Running sanctions checks
• Flagging anything that doesn't look right

You'll work closely with two other analysts and report into our Head of Operations, with our Head of Compliance as your escalation point for anything that needs a second set of eyes. You don't need to be a compliance expert on day one — you need real hands-on exposure to KYC/KYB and a sharp eye for detail, and we'll help you build the rest.

• Review client KYB documentation — corporate registration, ownership structure, proof of operations, authorized representatives
• Support contractor KYC — verifying IDs, resolving address or payment detail mismatches, handling jurisdictional flags
• Run sanctions, PEP, and adverse media checks using our approved tools and procedures
• Investigate payment issues — failed payouts, payment detail changes, cross-border payment concerns
• Keep our compliance trackers, evidence folders, and case notes accurate and audit-ready
• Escalate potential fraud, sanctions risk, unusual activity, or policy violations quickly and clearly
• Work cross-functionally with Customer Success and Operations on client-facing requests

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on compliance experience — KYC, KYB, client/customer onboarding, or sanctions screening, ideally at a payment processor, bank, crypto exchange, or money transmitter
• Comfortable reviewing documents carefully and spotting what's missing, inconsistent, or unclear
• Good written English — you can write a clean case note and a clear client request
• Comfortable with spreadsheets, case queues, and juggling multiple open cases at once
• High attention to detail, with the judgment to know when something needs to be escalated rather than closed
• Arabic fluency is a strong plus, not a requirement
