Role Description

Are you a passionate communications professional ready to lead, innovate, and make a real impact? We’re looking for a Senior Internal Communications Officer to shape how we engage, inspire, and connect our people. The role is primarily home-based, with occasional travel to Change Grow Live locations across the UK. We welcome applications from candidates based anywhere in the UK.

In this key leadership role, you’ll drive the delivery of our internal communications and engagement strategy—ensuring every colleague and volunteer feels informed, connected, and empowered.

• Lead and develop a team of three Internal Communications Officers
• Own and manage the internal communications calendar and planning pipeline
• Deliver major campaigns and high-profile communications projects
• Partner with senior leaders to provide expert strategic advice
• Continuously improve channels and content to increase engagement and impact
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and drive innovative solutions
• Champion our brand, tone of voice, and organisational values

Qualifications

• Experience in communications or marketing (4+ years)
• Proven success delivering engaging campaigns and communications plans
• Experience managing or supervising others
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
• A proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement

Requirements

• Experience with tools like Mailchimp, SharePoint, Viva Engage, or Teams live events
• Knowledge of change communications or project management approaches
• Ability to use data and insights to influence communications strategies
