[Hiring] Corporate Communications Summer Internship @Robert Half

Role Description

Robert Half is hiring a Corporate Communications Intern to join the Corporate Communications department. This individual will gain work and business-related experience in a selected communication department at Robert Half.

• Responsible for all messaging distributed to internal employees and externally to the public.
• Opportunity to build job-related skills through personal training, mentoring, and hands-on experience.
• Collaborate, communicate, and coordinate with work teams and other departments.
• Develop an understanding of business processes and sharpen area-specific abilities (e.g., proofreading, editing, writing, research).
• Gain transferable experience and identify a potential path for specialization.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s, master’s, or MBA program in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, MIS, Accounting, Finance, Economics) or an RHI-approved program (e.g., Year Up, NPower).
• Veterans, students in accredited Associate Degree programs, and those re-entering the workforce are also eligible to apply.
• No previous professional experience required.
• Minimum GPA: 3.0 overall, 3.0 major (may not apply to Military, Vets, and candidates re-entering the workforce).
• Visa Status: All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Graduation Status: Must be within two years of graduation from a four-year college or completed two years within a Junior College.

• Must work well in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently.
• Must work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Must possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a desire to learn and a receptiveness to feedback and mentoring.

Benefits

• Typical hourly pay rate: $23/hr.
