[Hiring] Strategic Partnerships Director @Nabla

Role Description

To support our continued growth, Nabla is expanding its team and seeking a Strategic Partnership Director to own the partnerships that make Nabla more successful and help us grow faster. That covers two classes of partner: the product partners whose capabilities extend our roadmap beyond what we build ourselves, and the EHR and platform partners whose ecosystems we sell and integrate into. You will own the full lifecycle of the partnership, from identifying the right partners to negotiating terms and launching integrated capabilities that drive adoption and revenue. You will also support our corporate development work on the buy side, monitoring the adjacent space and building key relationships.

Responsibilities

• Market Monitoring: Maintain a live view of the adjacent categories, including clinical decision support, chart intelligence, prior auth, and virtual care platforms. Bring a written point of view on what we should build, partner for, or decline.
• Relationship Ownership: Own the executive relationship with each partner across both classes (Product and EHRs), from first conversation through the life of the partnership. Build the influence that gets Nabla into the rooms and the programs we are currently not in, including preferred-partner status, earlier API access, and better platform economics.
• Product Partner Sourcing and Strategy: Originate and qualify partner conversations aligned with the product roadmap and strategy. Define the right construct per partner, whether referral, resell, bring-your-own-license, joint go to market, or integration only.
• Build the Product Partnership Playbook: Establish standards, scalable and repeatable processes and patterns for how we partner from a commercial and engagement perspective.
• Commercial Negotiation: Lead pricing and terms with our Finance team, including referral fees, minimums, integration fees, and pilot carve-outs. Run the redline cycle and the signature path with Legal, InfoSec, and Finance.
• Go to Market, Launch and Performance Tracking: Own the launch plan with Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Customer Success, including alpha site selection, success criteria, the general availability, joint messaging, and sales enablement.
• Corporate Development, Buy Side: Maintain the target map for adjacent players, source and qualify targets, build the investment thesis and valuation view, and coordinate diligence. Bring CEO, Finance, and leadership in once a target is real.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success to keep partnership commitments aligned with what we can actually ship and support.
• Industry Presence: Build the strategic contact and meeting plan for the events that matter, including JPM.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in product partnerships, business development, or corporate development in Healthcare SaaS, with direct exposure to US health systems.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to run six to eight partner workstreams in parallel and coordinate actions cross-functionally, especially with Product and Engineering team.
• Understanding of Product and technical concepts including APIs and AI model integrations. Ability to translate between partner-side and product-side stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication. Strong problem-solving mentality and action oriented.
• Demonstrated success integrating a third-party and bringing the partnership to a live customer with strong adoption.
• Personally negotiated and closed multi-party commercial agreements, including pricing, and owned the redline cycle.
• Experienced working with EHR integration constraints and PHI and BAA mechanics.
• Proactive and self-motivated; writes the playbook rather than waiting for one.
• Sound judgment on confidentiality, particularly on corporate development work.
• Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States and must be able to maintain authorization to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
