[Hiring] Strategic Business Development Lead, Private Equity @Aleph

Role Description

We’re looking for a Strategic Business Development Lead, Private Equity to help private equity firms and their portfolio companies evaluate Aleph. Think of this as a sales engineer role built around the planning and reporting needs of PE sponsors and their portfolio companies. You’ll act as the subject matter expert on FP&A and portfolio monitoring best practices and the Aleph product, owning technical evaluations from first demo through decision.

This role sits at the intersection of finance expertise and sales execution. You’ll be deep in the product and in prospects’ financial workflows, and the job is ultimately about winning technical evaluations and earning trust fast with sponsors, operating partners, and portfolio company CFOs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years on an investment or value creation team at a PE firm, or in a finance role at a PE-backed company, comfortable working with a senior operating partner
• Fast and sharp in a spreadsheet; confident building and defending a model
• Translates fluently between finance and product speak
• Thrives in ambiguity and moves fast on your own
• Curious about AI and can make the case for it to a skeptic
• Remote-ready and self-directed on a distributed team

Requirements

• Lead product demos and POCs that highlight how Aleph automates spreadsheet-heavy FP&A and sponsor reporting workflows using AI.
• Design and lead fast-paced trials that deliver clear value in days, not months.
• Speak credibly with CFOs and operating partners about where AI fits in finance.
• Work closely with GTM, Product, and Engineering teams to refine Aleph’s positioning and roadmap.
