[Hiring] Strategic Agency Manager @Hightouch

Role Description

As a Strategic Agency Manager, you will own and grow Hightouch's relationships with the agency holding companies, independent agencies, and walled gardens (Google, Meta, Amazon, TikTok, and others) that are building agentic marketing programs for their largest enterprise clients. You will report to our Head of Global Agencies and manage a portfolio of strategic agency and platform partners, working consultatively with agency executives and C-level stakeholders to structure commercial agreements, co-sell into their largest accounts, and make Hightouch the default activation layer for agentic marketing across their client base.

Your work will directly expand Hightouch's footprint into the largest brands in the world, helping us become the platform of record for agentic marketing across the entire agency ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Own and grow a portfolio of strategic agency holding companies, independent agencies, and walled garden partners (e.g., Google, Meta, Amazon, TikTok), acting as their primary point of contact into Hightouch.
• Build multi-quarter, data-driven account plans for each partner in your portfolio, identifying growth drivers and prioritizing where Hightouch can create the most mutual value.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to agency C-level and senior executives, shaping how they build and sell agentic marketing offerings to their own enterprise clients.
• Structure and negotiate commercial agreements — including pilots, minimum commitments, revenue share, and multi-year terms — with agency and platform leadership.
• Partner with Hightouch's enterprise sales team to co-sell into large brands that work with your agency and walled garden partners, expanding Hightouch's footprint within their books of business.
• Develop and deliver strategic, data-driven business reviews and pitches that demonstrate the ROI Hightouch drives for agency partners and their clients.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Legal to shape joint go-to-market motions, co-marketing programs, and scalable partnership frameworks.
• Track portfolio performance against revenue and adoption targets, proactively managing risk and identifying paths to expansion.
• Represent Hightouch at industry events, agency councils, and executive forums as a thought leader on agentic marketing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or consultative sales, ideally within advertising, media, martech, or a media/creative agency environment.
• Proven experience building and managing relationships with C-level and senior executives at large agencies, holding companies, or walled garden platforms.
• Track record of structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements — including minimum commitments, revenue share, and multi-year terms — with enterprise stakeholders.
• Experience managing a large, diverse portfolio of accounts or partners, with the ability to prioritize and build strategic plans across dozens of relationships at once.
• Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to translate complex, technical AI and data concepts into clear business value for non-technical executives.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity, competing stakeholder interests, and long, multi-threaded sales cycles.
• Deep curiosity about and passion for the future of agentic marketing, AI, and the evolving role of agencies and walled gardens in the marketing ecosystem.
• Exceptional communication and executive presence, with experience delivering strategic pitches and business presentations to senior audiences.
• Willingness to travel to meet with agency and partner executives in person as needed.

Bonus If You Have

• Existing relationships with major agency holding companies (e.g., WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, IPG, Dentsu, Havas) or walled garden platform teams (Google, Meta, Amazon, TikTok).
• Prior experience at a walled garden, ad-tech platform, or media company in an agency-facing partnerships or sales role.
• Familiarity with customer data platforms, reverse ETL, or marketing/advertising data activation.
• Experience selling into or partnering with enterprise marketing, growth, or media teams.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $150,000–$180,000 base / $280,000–$320,000 OTE USD per year, which is location-independent.
