2d ago - Arthritis Foundation, Inc is hiring a remote Senior Vice President, Corporate Partnerships and Ease of Use. 💸 Salary: $225,000+ annually 📍Location: USA

Role Description

The Senior Vice President, Corporate Partnerships and Ease of Use (SVP), leads the Arthritis Foundation’s national strategy for corporate revenue and partnerships that help people live better lives while funding a cure. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this leader unites industry partnerships, consumer and retail opportunities, the Limit | Less point-of-sale campaign, and the Ease of Use program and its product certification and licensing relationships.

The SVP is an accomplished fundraiser and business developer who can articulate an inspiring vision, build executive relationships, and personally secure six- and seven-figure commitments. The role leads an established corporate team, grows and diversifies the portfolio beyond its current concentration in pharmaceutical partners, and connects companies to the full range of Foundation programs, patient education, events, consumer engagement, and Ease of Use offerings. Success requires sound judgment in partner vetting, internal alignment, agreement execution, and delivery of measurable commitments. The leader works with national and market teams to turn ambitious opportunities into sustainable, well-executed partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in national corporate partnerships, business development, sponsorship, or related revenue leadership, including at least five years leading and developing teams.
  • Demonstrated personal record of securing and expanding six- and seven-figure corporate commitments and of meeting ambitious revenue goals through both new business and account growth.
  • Ability to shape a compelling mission-based vision, present sophisticated concepts, negotiate effectively, and close with senior decision makers across multiple corporate functions.
  • Experience building partnerships in at least two of the following: pharmaceutical or healthcare, consumer brands or retail, cause marketing or point-of-sale fundraising, product certification or licensing. Experience expanding into new sectors strongly preferred.
  • Strong operational judgment: demonstrated success leading cross-functional partner review, proposal development, contract implementation, deliverable fulfillment, and outcome reporting.
  • Proven manager of senior relationship professionals and complex portfolios, with skill in coaching, moves management, accurate forecasting, and disciplined Salesforce CRM use.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, financial acumen, discretion, and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Understanding of nonprofit partnerships and mission integrity preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet partners, support staff, and represent the Foundation. (10%)

Requirements

  • Drive revenue growth and build consequential partnerships.
  • Set and achieve ambitious annual and multiyear goals for new, renewed, and expanded corporate revenue in alignment with the Foundation’s strategic direction and approved budget. ($10MM+ Annually)
  • Personally originate, cultivate, negotiate, and close high-value, six- and seven-figure relationships; develop compelling proposals that connect company priorities with clear benefits for people with arthritis.
  • Build executive relationships across pharmaceutical, medical technology, healthcare, retail, consumer products, and other sectors; broaden the prospect base and reduce concentration in any one sector.
  • Steward key national accounts, anticipate renewal and expansion opportunities, and demonstrate outcomes through timely impact reporting and a strong partner experience.
  • Lead a coordinated portfolio that includes program sponsorships and corporate engagement opportunities such as patient education, events and campaigns, employee engagement, cause marketing, the Limit | Less point-of-sale campaign, and Ease of Use certification and licensing.
  • Identify appropriate opportunities for corporate sponsors to engage with Ease of Use, and for Ease of Use manufacturers and licensees to support other Foundation initiatives; create clear cross-referral and account ownership practices.
  • Guide growth and financial performance of the Ease of Use program and lab, working with program staff, the advisory council, and subject matter experts on product testing, certification, licensing, and expansion into relevant consumer categories.
  • Develop and evaluate new partnership offerings, pricing, and channels with Mission, Marketing, Field, Special Events, and Finance, ensuring a credible value proposition and measurable impact.
  • Direct, coach, and develop a high-performing team responsible for substantial national corporate portfolios; establish clear goals, accountability, succession plans, and a collaborative culture.
  • Review account plans and moves management, coach solicitation strategy, and enforce accurate and timely Salesforce records, pipeline stages, forecasts, contact histories, and next steps.
  • Lead internal review of prospective partners and proposed commitments with appropriate Mission, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Finance, and executive stakeholders; resolve issues early and secure required approvals before offers are finalized.
  • Ensure signed partnerships move into clear implementation plans with owners, budgets, milestones, deliverables, recognition, reporting, and escalation paths; monitor fulfillment and resolve barriers with responsible teams.
  • Manage the department budget and revenue forecast, use performance data to adjust strategy, and maintain sound documentation and applicable sponsorship, licensing, and organizational policies.
  • Partner with field leadership on national and local opportunities, represent the Foundation at relevant industry and consumer forums, and support other strategic initiatives as assigned by the Chief Development Officer.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary starting from $225,000.00/yr.
  • Remote work flexibility.
  • Comprehensive health benefits.
  • Professional development opportunities.
