[Hiring] Senior Associate, Corporate Development @Offchain

Role Description

As the Corporate Development Sr. Associate at Offchain Labs, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of blockchain technology by identifying, acquiring, and building blockchain solutions at scale. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to identifying opportunities, evaluating them, and executing transactions that align with Offchain Labs' vision for decentralized infrastructure.

• Support M&A and strategic investment activity end to end:
  • Screen and evaluate targets
  • Lead market and operating diligence across engineering, product, legal, and finance
  • Build valuation models
  • Write investment memos
  • Support leadership on deal structuring and negotiation
• Own post-merger integration planning and execution:
  • Define the integration thesis prior to signing
  • Build the integration plan
  • Drive the workstreams required to realize deal objectives
• Support in fundraising preparedness:
  • Maintain diligence-ready materials, data rooms, financial models, and KPI reporting
  • Manage process timelines and open items during live processes
• Develop strategic business cases for new opportunities:
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis
  • Identify target segments and use cases
  • Analyze deal or partnership economics
  • Create execution roadmap
• Be a strategic thinker to the leadership team:
  • Bring an informed external view on competitors, market structure, and emerging models into strategic planning
  • Translate insights into clear recommendations
• Drive internal strategy communications:
  • Synthesize company priorities into clear strategy memos
  • Support planning and execution tracking against the agreed strategy
• Establish scalable processes and develop strategies that enhance Offchain Labs' corporate development capabilities
• Build relationships with blockchain founders and industry leaders while maintaining a robust organic pipeline of opportunities

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or a corporate development or strategic finance function
• Direct involvement in at least one M&A or fundraise process from start to close, with real ownership of workstreams rather than adjacent exposure
• Genuine fluency in crypto, with crypto-native work experience strongly preferred
• Strong financial modeling and market sizing skills, including in segments where public data is limited or inconsistent
• Exceptional written and visual communication skills
• Comfort with ambiguity and a high degree of ownership
• Bachelor's degree
