Role Description

The Director of Business Development will lead the growth efforts, key account management, and the establishment of new partnerships to drive revenue growth for assigned Ancora Business Units. This role will manage a geographic region or sector to deliver established goals. The role is expected to develop and implement a key accounts management and territory management strategy to drive growth for Ancora Business Unit programs and locations.

• Identify internal and external partnership opportunities through developing business plans/strategies for new and existing partners.
• Remain knowledgeable of market insights and strategic recommendations for existing and new partners and program opportunities.
• Define both short and long-term strategic goals concerning business growth.
• Manage key growth initiatives and client relationships while maintaining an extensive knowledge of market conditions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in management, including a combination of leading an admissions team, business development or B2B sales team.
• Experience with strategic planning, general management, and marketing of Ancora products.
• Experience in leadership and developing human capital.
• Experience leading D2C, B2B, B2G, B2E sales and community partnerships is a plus.
• Natural and intuitive ability to identify business opportunities and assess agency and employer partner needs.
• Highly skilled networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
• Effective oral, written, and verbal communicator.
• Ability to work in a matrixed organization and collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Intermediate knowledge and proficiency with computer navigation and multiple applications.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Ability to be flexible with schedule as travel is critical for this position.
• Expert knowledge of products such as Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, Chat, and Gmail.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to solve problems of a complex nature.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Maintains professionalism at all times with stakeholders, customers, peers, vendors, and students.

Requirements

• An Associate's degree is preferred in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field of study.
