[Hiring] Director of Business Development @Avenga

Role Description

Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities and strategic accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
• Own the sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through negotiation and contract closure.
• Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and regular reporting.
• Collaborate closely with delivery, recruiting, solution, and leadership teams to develop tailored client solutions and proposals.
• Represent Avenga at industry events, conferences, and relevant business networking opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of long-term account strategies and partnerships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar commercial leadership role, preferably within the IT services or technology industry.
• Proven track record of developing and executing business development strategies that drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
• Strong experience in building and managing relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
• Solid understanding of the IT services market, including software development, digital transformation, cloud, data, and AI solutions.
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of business development initiatives.
