[Hiring] Business Development Trainee @Teckhorizon

Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Business Development Trainee to support our business development operations for Canadian clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), reviewing client requisitions, and developing accurate, professional submissions that align with client requirements.

This role requires strong written English, research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand client requirements and present relevant information in a clear, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in business development, proposal writing, RFP responses, or a similar role.
• Excellent written English and professional business communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to review detailed requirements and translate them into clear, structured responses.
• Excellent research, documentation, proofreading, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work with Canadian clients and follow Canadian business practices.

Requirements

• Review and analyze client requisitions, RFPs, and other business opportunities from Canadian clients.
• Prepare professional proposals and responses based on client requirements and submission guidelines.
• Review job requisitions and identify key requirements, qualifications, deliverables, and submission criteria.
• Coordinate with internal recruitment and business development teams to gather the information needed for client submissions.
• Prepare and maintain proposal documents, candidate submission details, compliance checklists, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure all submissions are accurate, complete, properly formatted, and delivered within deadlines.
• Track RFPs, requisitions, submission statuses, and upcoming deadlines.
• Conduct research to support proposal development and identify relevant business opportunities.
• Maintain organized records of client requirements, proposals, and related communications.
• Communicate with internal teams to clarify requirements and ensure submissions meet client expectations.
