Role Description

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll drive top-of-funnel growth by creating high-quality opportunities across outbound, inbound, partner, and event-driven channels. Your focus: building a healthy, scalable pipeline while ensuring every prospect interaction delivers meaningful value and insight into the payments ecosystem.

  • Identify, research, and engage target accounts across outbound, inbound, partner, and event-driven channels to generate high-quality meetings and Sales Accepted Leads aligned to Revaly’s ICP and go-to-market priorities.
  • Conduct thoughtful discovery conversations, qualify opportunities for fit and readiness, and deliver detailed, context-rich handoffs to Account Executives that improve pipeline quality and protect AE capacity.
  • Articulate Revaly’s value proposition by connecting failed payment recovery, approval optimization, and revenue protection outcomes to real customer pain points while confidently handling early-stage objections and building trust with stakeholders.
  • Leverage AI-powered sales and research tools to personalize outreach, improve prospecting efficiency, maintain accurate CRM data, and support scalable pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing on campaigns, strategic accounts, events, and experimentation while continuously building expertise in the payments ecosystem and Revaly’s platform.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a Business Development Representative (BDR) or Sales Development Representative (SDR) role within SaaS, fintech, payments, or a high-growth technology environment.
  • Proven ability to generate outbound meetings and qualified pipeline through disciplined prospecting and discovery.
  • Experience using CRM and sales engagement platforms such as SFDC, AmpleMarket, LinkedIn, SaleNav, and Gong.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to identify buying signals, stakeholder priorities, and ICP alignment.
  • Ability to communicate technical or operational concepts in a simple, value-driven way.
  • Familiarity and continued curiosity towards AI-powered productivity tools.
  • A calm, confident communicator who thrives in fast-moving, high-accountability environments.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Curious, resilient, and energized by solving problems and creating opportunities.
  • A collaborative teammate who enjoys feedback, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Consistently generating high-quality Sales Accepted Leads and outbound meetings that convert into qualified pipeline opportunities.
  • Developing credibility and confidence in articulating Revaly’s platform, value proposition, and payments industry insights within the first 90 days.
  • Building a predictable, scalable prospecting rhythm that supports pipeline growth across multiple acquisition channels within the first 6 months.
  • Maintaining strong SAL acceptance and conversion rates through thoughtful qualification and detailed handoffs to Account Executives.
  • Contributing measurable pipeline impact and helping improve overall funnel quality, velocity, and conversion performance within the first 6 months.
