Role Description

Staff Solutions is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Consultant to join our team and assist in expanding our client base nationally. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven individual who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and winning new business.

The successful candidate will work remotely and focus on developing new corporate relationships and generating recruitment opportunities for Staff Solutions across South Africa.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective corporate clients nationally.
• Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, telephone, and email prospecting.
• Establish relationships with HR Managers, HR Directors, business owners, and other key decision-makers.
• Identify companies with current or future recruitment requirements.
• Present Staff Solutions' recruitment services to prospective clients.
• Secure new recruitment vacancies and business opportunities.
• Build and manage your own client pipeline.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients and generate repeat business.
• Maintain regular contact with prospective and existing clients.
• Work closely with the Staff Solutions recruitment team to ensure a professional handover of vacancies.
• Keep accurate records of prospects, leads, and business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experienced in business development, sales, recruitment, or account management.
• A confident and persuasive communicator.
• Highly self-motivated and results-driven.
• Comfortable approaching and engaging senior decision-makers.
• An excellent relationship builder.
• Entrepreneurial and commercially minded.
• Able to work independently and manage their own workload.
• Comfortable working remotely.
• Persistent, professional, and target-driven.

Requirements

• An existing network of corporate contacts.
• Previous recruitment industry experience.
• Existing relationships with HR professionals or business owners.
• Proven B2B sales experience.
• Knowledge of South African business and industry sectors.
• An established LinkedIn network.
