Role Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst / Change Management Analyst to support Design, Development and Implementation (DDI) projects and ongoing Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) initiatives. This role will be responsible for processing, tracking, coordinating, and maintaining project deliverables, requests, design documents, and change management activities. This is a business analysis and change management role and is not an administrative position.

Key Responsibilities

• Support DDI projects within the Change Management Office and assist with processing MES O&M requests and deliverables.
• Process new requests, design documents, test plans, work plans, and other project deliverables in a timely manner.
• Log, track, and route deliverables to SMEs and Project Managers for review and next steps.
• Support the processing and tracking of project deliverables, including approvals and rejections.
• Coordinate the quality, transfer, storage, and processing of deliverables between vendors, internal development teams, SMEs, and contracted companies.
• Work directly with vendors supporting the modules and products that comprise the MES.
• Maintain databases, tracking logs, project deliverable files, and documentation repositories.
• Ensure project documentation is properly filed, maintained, and version-controlled.
• Generate and post recurring and ad-hoc status reports.
• Provide project data and responses to management and staff inquiries.
• Collaborate with project team members, management, SMEs, vendors, Information Management, and PMO teams.
• Coordinate change management workstreams and related activities with the Project Management Office.
• Work closely with program and project management to support smooth transitions and release readiness prior to deployment.
• Complete change management requirements and tasks using a structured methodology.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with project stakeholders.
• Serve as a central IT point of contact for the Change Management team.
• Support project reporting, coordination, and deliverable management.
• Participate throughout all stages of the project Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis and change management experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Experience working with project deliverables, documentation, and tracking processes.
• Understanding of common IT project terminology, including design documents, test plans, and work plans.
• Experience with document version control and project documentation management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with SMEs, project managers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage and track a high volume of deliverables and requests.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• 100% remote from Day 1.
• Must be available during regular working hours, Monday–Friday, 08:30 AM – 05:00 PM EST.
• Must be willing to pick up required equipment in person.

Skills

• Considerable work-related experience in an IT environment. (Highly desired, 5 Years)
• Considerable work-related knowledge and experience with Change and Release Management methodologies using version control. (5 Years)
• Considerable work-related knowledge and experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle. (5 Years)
• Experience with data entry and work order processing. (5 Years)
• Experience with tracking and reporting; controlling processes; and managing workflow. (5 Years)
• Must have excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills with internal and external customers. (5 Years)
