[Hiring] Bid Solutions Manager @OCS Group

Role Description

Reporting to the Head of Bid Solutions and liaising with the wider Business Development Team, focusing on developing robust, innovative and deliverable FM solutions that support OCS Private Sector bids, improve competitiveness, and help convert pipeline into profitable growth.

Initially focused primarily on ‘Soft Services’, there is also the opportunity to expand knowledge and skills and develop wider TFM solutioning aptitude in Hard Services.

• Solutions and pricing of FM/TFM bids for OCS Private Sector
• Supply chain pricing and procurement
• Resource modelling and building bid specific solution models
• Data collation and bid analytics
• Liaison with SME’s and Operational teams
• Equipment and technology sourcing and research
• Internal benchmarking
• Industry research

Outcomes achieved:

• Developing commercially competitive and operationally deliverable solutions
• Ensuring bid models are robust, evidence-based and benchmarked
• Supporting win themes through innovation, productivity and data-led service design

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FM Services / FM Industry
• Some understanding of soft services pricing and procurement
• Supply chain pricing / third party procurement
• Good people skills, the ability to influence and work with multiple stakeholders within the business
• Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
• Analytical thinking
• Ability to provide innovative ideas and creative thinking
• Research skills
• Strong IT Skills, predominantly Excel and Power BI
