[Hiring] Air-to-Road Director @Everwest

Role Description

As our Air-to-Road Director, you will develop the proposition, identify the cargo flows where road can successfully replace air freight, and bring the solution to customers across Europe.

• Work with European companies importing time-sensitive goods from Asia.
• Understand their transit-time, inventory, service, and cost requirements.
• Demonstrate where switching suitable cargo from air to road can create measurable business value.
• Scale a proven solution, educate the market, create demand, and convert customer opportunities into profitable, recurring business.

Behind you will be Everwest’s extensive logistics experience, strong road transportation capabilities, and an international team of commercial, operational, pricing, customs, and network specialists.

You will also leverage our scale, customer relationships, brand, and senior-level network across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and further develop the Air-to-Road product and its commercial proposition.
• Build the European go-to-market strategy for Air-to-Road.
• Identify cargo flows and customer segments where express road transportation can effectively replace air freight.
• Build and manage a focused pipeline of strategic European customers.
• Open doors with senior supply chain, logistics, and procurement decision-makers.
• Educate customers about where shifting suitable cargo from air to road can create value.
• Develop customer-specific business cases based on transit time, reliability, inventory impact, and cost.
• Translate customer requirements into practical and competitive transportation solutions.
• Work closely with operations, pricing, customs, and network teams to define lanes, pricing models, and service specifications.
• Lead opportunities from initial customer discussions through pilot implementation.
• Convert successful pilot projects into profitable, recurring business.
• Take responsibility for revenue, gross margin, and commercial performance.
• Create a repeatable operating and commercial model that can be scaled across Everwest.

Qualifications

• Senior commercial, product, business development, or key-account role experience in:
• Air freight
• Global freight forwarding
• Time-critical or express logistics
• Multimodal transportation
• Asia-to-Europe supply chains
• Strategic logistics sales or key-account management
• Experience with European cargo owners in sectors such as fashion and apparel, consumer electronics, automotive, or other time-sensitive industries.
• Strong relationships with senior European supply chain, logistics, and procurement decision-makers.
