[Hiring] Vice President AI & Automation @ARCHER

Role Description

The VP, AI & Automation, who also serves as Head of the AI Center of Excellence (CoE), leads ARCHER’s enterprise AI and intelligent automation program, turning Executive Leadership Team (ELT) priorities into measurable results. This role owns the strategy, vendor management, and the pace of delivery for ARCHER’s AI initiatives across various departments.

• Owns the AI product owner and business analyst functions directly.
• Partners closely with the CIO and ELT functional leaders to identify, prioritize, and deliver AI-enabled solutions.
• Responsible for maturing and expanding the existing AI foundation, including a functioning Center of Excellence and various AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Technically fluent leader with experience in delivering intelligent automation and AI in production.
• Working knowledge of modern LLM and agentic frameworks.
• Ability to move quickly in a mid-market environment and deliver measurable results.

Requirements

• Assess, refine, and execute ARCHER’s enterprise AI and intelligent automation strategy and roadmap.
• Build and scale the AI team, directly owning the AI product owner and business analysts.
• Partner with functional leaders to identify, scope, and deliver high-value AI initiatives.
• Manage AI and automation platform, partner, and vendor relationships.
• Expand and harden ARCHER’s existing AI infrastructure.
• Own the specification layer the agent framework runs on.
• Establish and maintain enterprise AI governance.
• Partner with Finance and business owners to define, track, and validate AI investments.
• Develop and manage the AI and automation budget.
• Represent ARCHER’s AI program externally with clients and partners.
• Identify opportunities to translate AI capability into client-facing differentiation.
• Get ARCHER’s data ready for AI.
• Advance AI-enabled software development practices.
• Build AI skills across the business.
• Monitor and evaluate emerging AI technologies.
