[Hiring] Senior Applied AI Engineer @Inficare Technologies

Role Description

Join the AI POD team supporting a large-scale, heavily customized Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform with deep integrations across ERP, OMS, PIM, CRM, subscription billing, tax, and search/marketing systems. As a Senior Applied AI Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy novel AI-powered applications that extend and enhance the platform - turning promising AI capabilities into production-grade features.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML-powered applications integrating with Adobe Commerce and adjacent enterprise systems
• Build and productionize models and AI workflows (recommendation, search relevance, content generation, intelligent automation)
• Build robust REST/GraphQL APIs to expose AI capabilities to the Commerce storefront and internal tools
• Implement monitoring, evaluation, and guardrails to ensure AI features are reliable, safe, and compliant
• Write production-grade, well-tested code following TDD principles (unit, integration, and evaluation tests)
• Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments (Docker) for AI services
• Mentor engineers adopting AI tooling and contribute to internal best practices and reusable components
• Participate in code reviews, technical design, and estimation within an Agile delivery model

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming skills; PHP and/or JavaScript for integration work
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML applications using modern frameworks (LLM orchestration, vector databases, classical ML pipelines)
• Experience integrating AI services with e-commerce or transactional platforms via REST/GraphQL APIs
• Solid MLOps fundamentals - model deployment, versioning, monitoring, and performance evaluation
• DevOps practices: Git, CI/CD, Docker, cloud hosting (AWS or Azure)
• Experience working within enterprise AI governance frameworks (approved tools, data handling, security/compliance)
• Ability to collaborate with Adobe Commerce/Magento engineers on a live commerce platform

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento) or other major commerce platforms
• LLM-based application development: RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering in regulated/enterprise settings
• Cloud AI platforms: Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI
• Experience in legal, tax, compliance, finance, or regulated B2B/B2G industries
• Performance monitoring tools: New Relic, Blackfire
• Microservices architecture exposure
• Mentoring and engineering best-practices leadership

Location & Work Model

Fully remote. Must be based in the United States or near-shore Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Argentina) with significant overlap during US Eastern or Central business hours. Fully offshore locations outside the Americas will not be considered. Background check and client-specific compliance screening required prior to start.

Engagement Details

Engagement type to be finalized (Contract / Contract-to-Hire / Full Time). Regular participation in standups, sprint ceremonies, and cross-team collaboration during US business hours is expected.
