[Hiring] Research AI/ML Engineer @Theoris

Role Description

Join a team building AI and machine learning solutions that accelerate research and innovation. This role focuses on deploying ML models, building data pipelines, maintaining cloud-based platforms, and ensuring reliable, scalable production systems. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to bring AI solutions from development into production.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning models in production environments.
• Build and support scalable data pipelines and workflows.
• Develop APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
• Use Kubernetes and container technologies to support deployment and scaling.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Monitor model performance, data quality, and system health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across applications, data, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with data science, engineering, and business teams to deliver AI solutions.
• Create documentation, operational procedures, and technical best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, MLOps, or cloud engineering experience.
• Experience with Python and at least one object-oriented language such as Java, Go, C++, or Rust.
• Experience building and deploying applications using containers and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred

• Experience deploying and managing machine learning models in production.
• MLOps experience with tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar platforms.
• Experience building data pipelines using Spark, Kafka, or streaming technologies.
• Familiarity with model monitoring, validation, governance, and data quality practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
• Exposure to AI/LLM applications and modern machine learning workflows.
• Experience working in life sciences, healthcare, or research environments.
