[Hiring] AI Transformation Analyst, Intern @Iovance Biotherapeutics

Role Description

Iovance Biotherapeutics is a commercial-stage biotech company pioneering individualized cell therapies for cancer. This is a 12-week, remote internship—not a typical intern experience. You will engage with teams across the entire company: Manufacturing, Quality, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Commercial, Finance, and beyond. Your responsibilities include:

• Engaging directly with team members and leaders across every major business function to understand how work gets done today—what’s working, what’s not, and where the friction is.
• Documenting end-to-end business processes with rigor and consistency, building a structured repository that becomes a lasting organizational asset.
• Building a comprehensive use case catalogue that captures, categorizes, and prioritizes opportunities where AI and automation can drive real operational improvement.
• Applying AI tools and large language models to analyze documented workflows, surface patterns, and develop preliminary solution concepts for high-priority opportunities.
• Translating complex findings into clear, well-organized deliverables—written summaries, process maps, and recommendation briefs—for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Working directly with the Executive Director, COC/COI Systems and cross-functional partners to pressure-test assumptions, refine priorities, and align recommendations with organizational goals.
• Staying sharp on the evolving AI landscape and bringing informed perspectives on how new capabilities could apply to the problems you’re seeing.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Strategy, Operations, Economics, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Regular user of AI tools, finding them beneficial in your work.
• Working understanding of the current AI landscape: large language models, automation platforms, and future technology trends.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clarify complex information without losing nuance.
• Comfortable engaging with senior leaders and asking insightful questions.
• Analytical and organized, capable of structuring large volumes of qualitative and quantitative information.
• Self-directed, managing time effectively and delivering on commitments.
• Interest in biotechnology or life sciences is a plus, but not required.

Pay Transparency

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $22 USD. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of the role, job duties/requirements, and relevant education, experience, and skills.
