[Hiring] AI/Solutions Architect @Provectus

Role Description

As a member of a small, senior pod, you will work alongside a Forward Deployed Executive (FDX) to drive client outcomes through AI solutions.

• Engage with clients to learn their functions from the inside and redesign processes from first principles.
• Achieve working fluency in new domains such as insurance underwriting, healthcare revenue cycle, and asset flow.
• Design and ship production GenAI systems into customer environments, implementing and optimizing RAG systems.
• Write production code across the stack, ensuring systems are containerized and maintainable post-delivery.
• Lead architecture reviews, produce technical design documents, and mentor engineers.
• Own the technical direction of proposals and drive adoption, ensuring credibility with customer engineers and executives.

Qualifications

• Proactive and self-directed; able to identify problems before they arise.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and ownership in underspecified engagements.
• B2+ English, capable of collaborating across distributed, multicultural teams.
• Willing to understand and perform tasks on the client's side before coding.
• Credible with senior stakeholders, able to present outcomes effectively.
• Experience in producing scoped, phased delivery plans with clear deliverables and risks.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and running production systems.
• Solid AI/ML foundations with understanding of model failure modes.
• Experience designing and shipping production LLM applications and agentic workflows.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or OpenAI) and agent frameworks.
• Experience building and optimizing RAG systems in production.
• Strong engineering fundamentals; proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Hands-on AWS production depth, including services like Bedrock, Lambda, and ECS.
• Experience with cloud-native delivery, including containers and CI/CD applied to AI pipelines.
• Experience in model and agent monitoring, drift detection, and cost management.
• Hands-on production experience with the Claude ecosystem is a strong plus.
