[Hiring] AI Process Automation / Agentic Workflow Engineer & Coach @GlobalLogic

Role Description

The project focuses on a company-wide AI-First transformation, which is a massive reorganization of how work gets done. The goal is to have AI agents execute core work while humans manage and govern those processes.

• Duration: 6-9 months (a medium-to-long-term engagement focused on sustainability).
• Embedded Operating Model: Engineers will work directly inside functional business units (Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations, etc.).
• Non-SDLC Scope: Focuses exclusively on operational business workflows outside of IT.

The project relies on a paired team model (Engineer + Champion):

• 1-on-1 Pairing: Each engineer will be paired with a designated "AI Champion".
• Mentorship & Coaching: The AI Champion will undergo parallel training, with the engineer coaching them on real-world use cases.

• Technology Ecosystem: Anchored primarily in Claude (Anthropic).
• Design Philosophy: Complete reorchestration of workflows.
• Clear Task Delegation: Precise definition of work delegated to agents versus human oversight.

• Enablement & Self-Sufficiency: Success is measured by the AI Champion's ability to operate independently at the end of the engagement.

• Skepticism and Fear: Non-technical business owners may be wary of agentic AI.
• Critical Need for High EQ: Success hinges on the engineer's interpersonal skills as much as their technical skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing AI agent-based workflows (specifically within the Claude / Anthropic ecosystem).
• Demonstrated ability to map as-is manual/semi-automated business processes and redesign them into AI-first operating models.
• Experience training and upskilling non-technical business users.
• Experience working directly with functional business stakeholders outside of IT.
• Exceptional ability to build trust and manage change.
• Ability to commit to a 6-9 month embedded engagement.

Job Responsibilities

• Map current-state (As-Is) manual or semi-automated business processes.
• Identify what should be delegated to AI agents versus what must be retained by humans.
• Partner 1-on-1 with a designated AI Champion throughout the entire lifecycle.
• Co-select high-impact use cases suited for agentic transformation.
• Actively coach and guide the AI Champion on built workflows.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions alongside business teams.
