[Hiring] AI Infrastructure Engineer @The Squires Group

Role Description

Our client is a large global integrator seeking an AI Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, you will support the modernization of applications within the client's program by:

• Designing, deploying, and managing secure AWS infrastructure and AI/ML integrations.
• Building reusable Terraform modules.
• Managing infrastructure artifacts through Artifactory.
• Developing connector services integrating Amazon Bedrock with internal systems.
• Deploying custom and fine-tuned models.
• Implementing cost and usage observability across AWS environments.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.

Responsibilities

• Define IAM roles, VPC endpoints, Knowledge Bases, and Guardrails as reusable, version-controlled Terraform modules.
• Version, manage, and distribute reusable infrastructure artifacts through Artifactory.
• Build and deploy connector infrastructure, including MCP servers and Lambda-based integrations.
• Host, version, and maintain connector services as production infrastructure.
• Deploy custom and fine-tuned models using Amazon Bedrock Custom Model Import.
• Evaluate cost and commitment tradeoffs associated with Provisioned Throughput and custom model deployments.
• Build cost and usage observability capabilities to track spend by model and developer.
• Support secure cloud modernization efforts for applications supporting background investigation operations.
• Develop infrastructure and deployment processes that promote consistency and reproducibility.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance and Security+ certification.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS Bedrock resources.
• Experience managing and distributing versioned infrastructure artifacts through Artifactory.
• Hands-on experience deploying custom and fine-tuned models using Amazon Bedrock Custom Model Import.
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock Provisioned Throughput and associated commitment and cost planning.
• Experience building and operating connector and integration services using AWS technologies.
• Experience developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services through code.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with Reinforcement Fine-Tuning (RFT) workflows on Amazon Bedrock.
• Experience with Application Inference Profiles for per-team cost attribution.
• Experience working within multi-account AWS Organizations environments.
• Experience integrating Terraform and Artifactory promotion workflows into CI/CD pipelines.
• Cross-cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with Azure and/or GCP.

Compensation

• W2 Hourly rate: $70 - 85/hr.
• Pay rates are based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications, and are subject to change at any time.
