[Hiring] AI Engineering Summer Intern @Arine

Role Description

We are looking for an AI Engineering Intern to join our Team for the summer. This role is designed for a current graduate student, recent graduate, or someone with equivalent early-career experience who is passionate about using advanced statistical methods and AI tools to improve population health and reduce the total cost of care through medication optimization at a health-plan scale.

Internship Focus Areas:

• SOAP Note Transformation: You will focus on the AI logic required to convert unstructured call summarizations into high-quality, clinical-grade SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan) notes. This includes leveraging foundation models like Claude 3.5 Sonnet to extract structured clinical facts from live transcripts.
• Prompt Generation & Agent Behavior: You will help build Arine's prompt generation, defining guardrails and determining how the agent should respond to questions or comments from the stakeholder it is talking to. This work ensures complex, human-aware AI engagement that understands patient sentiment and care gaps in real-time.

Qualifications

• Experience with LLMs (e.g., Claude, GPT-X) and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with AWS (Bedrock, Lambda) and Python.
• Experience with Azure (AI Foundry).
• Interest in healthcare technology and clinical documentation workflows.

Requirements

• Must live in and be eligible to work in the United States.
• Stable high-speed internet connection and a private work area for HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to pass a background check and complete Information Security/HIPAA training upon hire.

Each user is responsible to maintain a secure working environment and follow all policies and procedures.
