Role Description

We are looking for AI Engineers for our AI Team - a team focused on two exciting goals:

• Using AI tools to automate business processes across the company.
• Bringing AI solutions to everyone to boost productivity and spark interest in AI concepts among decision-makers.

We use AWS, Go, Python, and cloud-based models, yet remain flexible to mix ready-made tools and ship our custom solutions. Our team has successfully pioneered a portfolio of AI solutions, including:

• Customer care chatbot
• Voice solutions
• Speech-to-text services
• An integrated HR automation ecosystem

You will be a key specialist in a cross-functional team, working closely with backend and other LLM engineers. Challenges that await you include:

• Developing and managing AI/ML pipelines using Large Language Models, focusing on model selection, configuration, creating robust wrappers, and designing the overall pipeline for data storage and retrieval.
• Working with advanced prompts, setting up RAG-oriented data sources for efficient retrieval, and evaluating model outputs to ensure accuracy, relevance, and quality.
• Implementing and refining advanced OCR solutions to automatically read, analyze, and validate business documents, including tasks such as identifying and extracting key entities, verifying their attributes, and ensuring data consistency across documents.
• Designing and executing experiments and A/B tests to systematically compare the performance of different prompts, pipelines, and model configurations, using metrics to drive product decisions and continuous improvement cycles.
• Collaborating with the team to solve complex AI implementation challenges, reviewing code, and ensuring we deliver top-notch solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience working with LLMs, with a strong focus on prompt engineering, building ML pipelines, and model integration.
• Understanding of quality evaluation metrics and practical experience with A/B testing for ML models.
• Ability to prioritize hypotheses, clearly justify the selection of specific models, methods or algorithms, and architect efficient engineering solutions.
• Experience delivering high-quality software, CI/CD pipelines, and end-to-end ownership of the development lifecycle from technical design to post-deployment monitoring.
• Expertise in Python and its ecosystem, as well as a language- and framework-agnostic mindset to achieve project goals.
• Familiarity with various options for LLM providers, both commercial (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere) and open-source (e.g., Llama, Mistral).
• Familiarity with various open-source tools to build and evaluate RAG applications (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Ragas, MLflow).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to a broad audience of stakeholders.
• B1 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team.

Requirements

• Previous experience delivering business-critical ML/AI-powered applications.
• Experience with adapting, fine-tuning, and deploying open-source models (e.g., Llama, Mistral) in an on-premise or private cloud environment.
• Personal portfolio of hobby ML projects or contributions to open-source tools.
