Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer with a strong background in traditional Machine Learning, Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic AI workflows. The ideal candidate combines hands-on AI development with solid Python backend engineering skills, including FastAPI, REST APIs, database integrations, authentication, and cloud deployment. This role goes beyond building AI models or LLM workflows. We are looking for an engineer who can develop, integrate, deploy, and maintain complete AI-powered applications within existing enterprise environments. Candidates should be comfortable working with established codebases, understanding existing architectures, and contributing independently to production systems.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience developing applications with Python.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI and REST API development.
• Practical experience building and deploying Generative AI solutions.
• Experience with RAG architectures, retrieval systems, and LLM integration.
• Experience developing agentic workflows, including tool calling and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry.
• Understanding of traditional Machine Learning concepts and applications.
• Experience with databases and enterprise system integrations.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, API security, and application validation.
• Experience with Docker, Git, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting production applications.
• Ability to work independently within existing enterprise codebases.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using traditional Machine Learning and Generative AI technologies.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines for enterprise knowledge retrieval.
• Develop agentic AI workflows, including agent orchestration, tool calling, and integrations with external services.
• Implement AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry.
• Evaluate model performance, retrieval quality, response accuracy, and overall application reliability.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing business applications and enterprise workflows.
• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI.

• Implement request and response validation using Pydantic.
