Role Description

We are looking for a Senior AI Developer to build agentic solutions on Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Foundry), along with the reusable framework that sits underneath them. You will join our client, an AI-native Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform consultancy based in Melbourne that delivers business applications and agentic solutions for clients across financial services, property, government, and legal.

• The work covers orchestrating agents, a governed knowledge repository, and shared skill sets and tools, all integrated with Dataverse and the Power Platform.
• A typical build combines:
  • Agents that run routine steps autonomously.
  • Co-pilot steps where a person reviews and approves.
  • Human-led steps where judgment stays with the professional.
• You will make that governance model real in code, with approval gates, audit trails, and evaluation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years building LLM-based applications.
• Hands-on experience delivering solutions on Azure AI Foundry, including agents, model deployments, Azure AI Search, and evaluation.
• Strong Python and C#/.NET skills, with solid engineering habits such as testing, code review, Git, and CI/CD.
• Production experience with agentic patterns, including tool use, planning, memory, multi-agent orchestration, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Working knowledge of Azure services such as Functions, Container Apps, API Management, Key Vault, Entra ID, and Application Insights.
• Working knowledge of Dataverse (tables, security model, Web API) and how the Power Platform connects to external services.
• Experience applying guardrails and evaluation to AI systems in production, not just prototyping them.
• Clear communication with both business and technical audiences.

Requirements

• Experience building Copilot Studio agents and publishing to Teams or Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Experience building or consuming MCP servers.
• Experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure AI Content Safety.
• Delivery experience in regulated settings such as legal, financial services, or government.
• Microsoft certifications such as AI-102, AZ-204, or PL-400.
