[Hiring] AI/Data Governance Specialist @E Logic

Role Description

Seeking an AI/Data Governance Specialist to support GSA OCIO's AI and Data Governance task area. This role establishes frameworks for responsible AI and data management through governance support, data strategy, and stakeholder communications.

• Provide support to AI/data governance meetings and boards, including scheduling, facilitation, agenda and minutes preparation, and charter update support.
• Support the end-to-end AI use-case review process for use cases submitted to the AI Oversight Committee.
• Support stakeholder communications, ROI data collection, quarterly recertification support, OMB submission preparation, risk management support, and maintenance of the AI Risk Register.
• Review new Executive Orders, OMB memos, and other government directives to check for updates to GSA Data and AI strategy and policy documents.
• Support communications, EDS training, and PMO work related to the EDS.
• Perform no inherently governmental functions; serve in an advisory and support capacity only.
• All decision-making authority, voting, and approval functions are retained by Government personnel.
• Document all processes, methodologies, and solutions to enable knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, IT, Public Policy, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data governance or AI governance.
• Experience supporting AI/data governance meetings and boards.
• Experience with AI use-case review processes.
• Experience with stakeholder communications, ROI data collection, quarterly recertification support, OMB submission preparation, risk management support, and maintenance of AI Risk Registers.
• Knowledge of Executive Orders, OMB memos, and government directives related to AI and data.
• Active HSPD-12 clearance or favorable determination by contract award.

Requirements

• Preferred experience with GSA Data and AI strategy.
• Preferred experience with EDS (Enterprise Data Strategy).
• Knowledge of federal AI policies.
• Experience with Qualtrics Surveys.

Schedule & Work Conditions

• Core Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.
• Work Location: Primarily remote; occasional in-person meetings at GSA Headquarters (Theodore Roosevelt Building, 1900 E Street NW, Washington, DC) as requested by the COR.
• Local travel within 50 miles of GSA sites in the Washington, DC metropolitan area is not reimbursable. No other travel is expected.
• Ad hoc or situational telework is authorized with prior approval from the Task Order Contracting Officer. Telework reports must be submitted by the end of each telework day.
• Must maintain HSPD-12 credential and favorable background investigation throughout the life of the task order.
