[Hiring] AI Automations & Data Specialist @System Six

Role Description

We are actively seeking an AI Automations & Data Specialist, a joyful, technically sharp, and deeply curious builder who will support and build all things automation and data at System Six. You’ll step into what we have today - across tools like GPT/Claude, Make, Zapier, Supabase, PowerBI and various SaaS products. This includes modern app-connections via API, and complex internal PowerBI dashboards pulling data from a variety of sources with custom buildout via Python, SQL and DAX. You’ll learn and improve all we have today and also build things entirely anew. It is an incredibly exciting time to be in a growth-minded accounting firm - the opportunities to streamline and improve experiences - for our team and our clients - are nearly limitless. You’ll spend every day building the accounting firm of the future.

This is a fantastic full time global position for someone who loves to build, reporting directly to leadership. Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AI automations and data inside a B2B business.
• Power BI or equivalent expertise: you have built, maintained and optimized dashboards and the live production systems behind them.
• Proven workflow automation with AI and low-code tools: you have automated processes with tools like Claude, Zapier and Make that save material time.
• Advanced Excel: structured tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, named ranges, data validation, pivot tables, and strict file/path discipline in a connected data ecosystem.
• Strong data governance skills: you understand that a client renamed in one system, a new GL account added in another, or a mismatched ID can deeply corrupt work, dashboards, or payouts.
• Nice to have - basic accounting literacy: you don't need to be a CPA, but you need to understand a chart of accounts, GL structure and the basics of accounting.
