Role Description

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, Operations & Technology, the AI & Automation Manager will lead the development and implementation of AI-powered and automation-driven solutions that improve business efficiency, streamline processes, and support organizational growth. This is a strategic, hands-on role responsible for identifying opportunities, building intelligent workflows, and delivering scalable technology solutions that drive measurable business impact across Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, and Commercial teams.

What you’ll do:

• AI Strategy, Governance & Adoption
  • Own the AI and automation strategy, roadmap, and priorities throughout the lifecycle, aligning initiatives with business objectives and commercial growth goals.
  • Identify high-value AI opportunities across Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, and Commercial functions, developing business cases, implementation plans, and measurable success criteria.
  • Assess emerging AI technologies and recommend investments, pilots, and adoption opportunities based on business impact.
  • Establish governance, standards, and guardrails for responsible AI usage, including data stewardship, security, compliance, and quality assurance.
  • Partner with Data, IT, and business stakeholders to drive adoption, enablement, and long-term AI capability development.
• Intelligent Automation Design & Delivery
  • Architect, build, test, deploy, and maintain automated workflows supporting campaign execution, lead management, customer journeys, reporting, and cross-functional business processes.
  • Translate operational pain points into practical automation solutions using marketing automation platforms, workflow orchestration tools, AI capabilities, APIs, and low-code/no-code technologies.
  • Design resilient workflows that account for data quality, error handling, exception routing, monitoring, and long-term maintainability.
  • Evaluate workflow performance and business impact, continuously identifying opportunities to optimize, refactor, or expand automation capabilities.
  • Maintain documentation, governance, and lifecycle management processes for all automation assets.
• Funnel Intelligence & Revenue Process Optimization
  • Apply AI and automation capabilities to improve lead management, customer engagement, lifecycle progression, and conversion performance.
  • Analyze customer journeys and revenue processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for intelligent automation.
  • Monitor automated funnel processes and resolve issues impacting pipeline integrity, operational effectiveness, or reporting accuracy.
• Automation Architecture & Data Orchestration
  • Own the automation and integration layer supporting the lifecycle, including workflow orchestration, trigger logic, business rules, data movement, and transformation processes.
  • Partner with Data and IT teams to ensure automation solutions align with platform architecture and enterprise standards, recommending and implementing integration approaches using APIs, middleware, native connectors, and automation technologies.
  • Identify integration gaps, process bottlenecks, and data integrity issues affecting business performance. Establish controls and monitoring practices that ensure reliable and accurate data flows across systems.
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Enablement
  • Translate technical capabilities into business value, influencing strategy, prioritization, and investment decisions.
  • Lead training, documentation, and enablement efforts that drive adoption and long-term organizational self-sufficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver automation, process improvement, and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Champion scalable, enterprise-minded solutions that support current operations and future business growth.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Technology, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in sales, marketing operations, automation, marketing technology, business process improvement, or a related area.
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex automated workflows and AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong understanding of CRM systems, customer lifecycle management, lead management, and revenue process optimization.
• Experience with marketing automation platforms, workflow orchestration tools, APIs, integration technologies, and low-code/no-code solutions. Experience with Salesforce Agentforce would be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, automation best practices, governance, and responsible AI principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value and recommendations.
• English proficiency is required to support the full North American business.

Work Location

Preference is for candidates to be within a commutable distance to one of our office locations in Wayne, PA or Rochester, NY; however, we recognize that the right talent can thrive from anywhere—fully remote candidates will be considered for the right fit.

Compensation

The expected annual salary range for this role is $103,600 - $129,500 a year. This position is eligible for an annual incentive. Please note the compensation information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, geographical location, as well as market and business considerations.
