[Hiring] AI Automation Engineer @Bamboo Works

Role Description

We're looking for an experienced AI Automation Engineer who can design, build, deploy, and continuously improve AI-powered workflows, intelligent agents, and business automation systems. This is an engineering-focused role. Beyond automation platforms, we're looking for someone with strong software engineering fundamentals who can build reliable, scalable AI systems using Claude Code, APIs, Python, and modern AI development practices. You'll work directly with leadership to transform business processes into intelligent systems that deliver measurable operational impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building AI-powered applications, automation systems, or intelligent workflows
• Strong experience with Claude Code and AI-assisted development
• Solid programming skills in Python
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and Git
• Experience building AI agents and multi-agent workflows
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n or Make
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering and structured outputs
• Experience integrating multiple SaaS platforms using APIs and webhooks
• Understanding of LLM architecture and AI workflow design
• Experience debugging, testing, and optimizing AI systems
• Familiarity with deployment concepts such as Docker, cloud environments, and scalable infrastructure
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong written and verbal English communication

Requirements

• Experience with vector databases and embeddings
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Knowledge of AI evaluation and benchmarking techniques
• Experience with CRM, marketing automation, or business systems
• Experience within eCommerce, SaaS, or subscription-based businesses
• Understanding of SEO, marketing automation, or growth systems
