[Hiring] Workday Adaptive Planning Manager @Kainos

Role Description

Join Kainos as a Manager on our Adaptive Planning Professional Services team, where you will help clients transform their business planning needs with Workday Adaptive Planning. You will lead a delivery team responsible for implementations across multiple industries.

• Act as a Senior Adaptive Planning consultant, maintaining proficiency and certification in the Adaptive Planning application.
• Lead all phases of Adaptive Planning implementation projects, including:
  • Work with clients to understand their current planning process and consult on moving legacy models into Adaptive Planning.
  • Recommend solutions based on client requirements, budget, and timeframe, adapting the scope as additional needs arise.
  • Guide clients through design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and unique business requirements.
  • Develop and configure accurate forecasting and planning models in Adaptive Planning.
  • Plan and conduct training sessions for users.
  • Document planning models and reporting delivered to clients.
  • Ensure rapid time to value by delivering engagements on time and within budget.
  • Communicate regularly and clearly with customers and internal project teams to set expectations and ensure success.
  • Provide general customer service and assistance, serving as the go-to resource for project-related inquiries.
• Manage direct reports on the Consulting team:
  • Set, review, and refine team goals aligned with Kainos company goals; provide support for achieving these goals.
  • Ensure team members receive regular and constructive feedback.
  • Accountable for staffing and onboarding of new team members.
  • Act as a role model and mentor to junior consultants.
  • Review performance against goals and provide timely feedback.
  • Monitor team utilization and review weekly workload forecasting.
  • Be actively involved in recruitment and interviews.
  • Collaborate internally to share learnings and problem-solving experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required.
• 10+ years’ experience in accounting/financial management, particularly in budgeting, planning, and management reporting preferred.
• 2 - 4 years' experience implementing at least one Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Host Analytics, Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion) preferred.
• Advanced or expert proficiency in Excel, particularly in designing and building complex financial planning models.
• Experience as a people manager.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Organized, thorough, and process-driven.
• Previous consulting experience is ideal.
