[Hiring] VR Payments Claims Technician @ASM Research

Role Description

The VR Payments Claims Technician is responsible for performing one or more routine clerical operations such as:

• Entering data
• Examining, verifying, and correcting various documents to ensure completeness and accuracy of data in accordance with payments processing procedures

Specific tasks/duties are assigned under adequate supervision. Entry-level reconciliation and posting will be assigned under detailed guidance. In most instances, an employee in this position will rely on the supervisors' instructions. Completed work will be reviewed for timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with procedures.

The Claims Technician is responsible for processing reimbursement payments for State Vocational Rehabilitation Agencies (SVRA) for the Social Security Ticket to Work Program. The successful candidate will provide instructions to SVRA about their payments and distribution. He/She will provide information to SVRA with professionalism, precision, and appropriate sense of urgency. In addition, he or she will work closely with the VR Payments Manager and Sr. Claims Technician to ensure all deliverables are accomplished.

The ideal candidate for this position will be extremely detailed, have effective time management skills, and the ability to meet timelines consistently.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• BS or BA preferred
